Product Information:
Fly fish for striped bass, bluefish, false albacore, and green bonito. Come see why the Rhode Island coast and its estuaries are so productive for game fish on the fly (or light tackle). Try your luck to trout like rising striped bass while fishing the cinder worm hatch in early May. This can be one of the best times to catch a large striper on the fly.
As spring progresses and we move to early summer we head west to fish the Watch Hill Reefs, Napatree Point, & Fishers Island to stripers feeding on sand eels & silversides. This TRIANGLE is considered one of the best and most productive fisheries on the east coast.
As summer comes to a close the best is upon us, as water temps peak and begin to drop the butterfish show up followed by bay anchovy... It's time for false albacore & green bonito. These fast moving demons will test the drag of any reel and raise the hair on the back of your neck. The "TRIANGLE" is where we fish. Best time for Alibies & Bones are September & October. These trips book fast so make your reservations early. We can always shift our days due to weather. Make your reservation by calling the shop at 401-392-1919 or book on line and call for available dates.
We hope to see you on the water.
