With exception to our popular Click series reels, Sage Fly Reels are built around our innovative Sealed Carbon System (SCS) drag technology. Developed with a unique combination of aerospace engineering and cutting-edge materials, SCS drag units provide superior stopping power and ultra smooth performance. All SCS configurations feature a stainless steel/carbon drag unit fully sealed within an anodized aluminum housing resulting in a maintenance-free drag that is impervious to sand, salt and water.
